Presenting at MARS @ ETAPS 2026, Turin

Last week I presented our paper, “Statistical model checking of the Island Model: an established economic agent-based model of endogenous growth”, at MARS @ ETAPS 2026 in Turin.

This was a particularly meaningful milestone for me: it was the first presentation of my first PhD paper, and also my first international conference.

I am very glad the talk went well. Beyond the presentation itself, I really appreciated the opportunity to discuss the work with professors and researchers in the area and to spend a few days in a workshop environment that I found open, stimulating, and genuinely pleasant.

The paper is co-authored with Giorgio Fagiolo, Daniele Giachini, Andrea Vandin, and Ernest Ivanaj, and focuses on how statistical model checking, and in particular MultiVeStA, can support a more rigorous analysis of the Island Model.
